Semtech and Console Connect jointly announced their collaboration which will expand Semtech’s connectivity coverage across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region for its AirVantage Smart Connectivity service.
Semtech is leveraging Console Connect’s IMSI service and extensive partner roaming network to extend the reach of its AirVantage Smart Connectivity service to more markets and locations across the APAC region.
AirVantage Smart Connectivity service provides customers with a network of global cellular service providers, enabling flexibility by seamlessly switching to the next available network for constant and resilient global connectivity. The LoRa Alliance, the global consortium supporting the open LoRaWAN standard for Internet of Things (IoT) low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs), announced on Tuesday that Stefan Lindvall, CEO of MultiTech, has joined its board of directors. His extensive experience and leadership in the IoT industry make him a valuable addition to the LoRa Alliance board.
Under his guidance, MultiTech has consistently demonstrated a commitment to advancing IoT technologies and promoting interoperability, aligning with the goals of the LoRa Alliance.

Itron is collaborating with Cairns Regional Council (Council), located in Queensland, Australia, to deploy Itron’s intelligent connectivity and analytic solution, which includes Intelis wSource NB-IoT water meters and the utility’s existing mesh network technology that utilises Itron’s unified Temetra NB-IoT digital platform for data collection and data management. Shelly Group AD brings a native version of its Shelly Smart Control App to select Audi models. To this end, the Shelly Smart Control app based on the Android Automotive OS will be available in the Audi Application Store. Customers can thus use the user-friendly range of functions for intelligent home automation intuitively via the familiar user interface of their vehicle’s infotainment system. This includes, for example, automatically opening and closing the garage door, and switching on the lights in the garage, in other rooms or throughout the house when coming home or leaving the house.
The integration of the Shelly Smart Control app into the Audi Application Store is carried out in cooperation with CARIAD, Volkswagen Group’s software company and Harman Ignite. It gives customers access to a wide variety of popular third-party apps, which are integrated into the infotainment system of the car. Regular online updates keep the apps in the infotainment system up to date.
