Washington, 15 July 2022 – FCC chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel has circulated to her colleagues a Notice of Inquiry that would kick off the agency’s annual evaluation of the state of broadband across the country. As part of this assessment, chairwoman Rosenworcel proposed increasing the national standard for minimum broadband speeds and proposed setting a long-term goal for broadband speed. (more…)

San Francisco, UK. 13 July 2022 – Dedrone, a specialist in smart airspace security, has closed US$30 million (€29.93 million) in an oversubscribed Series C-1 financing round. Led by public safety technology company Axon, this latest funding comes on the heels of the company’s $30.5 million (€30.43 million) Series C in December 2021.
