Home Connectivity Alliance (HCA) has announced members will begin adopting HCA Interface Specification 1.0 in Q4 2023 and continue into 2024. The HCA Interface Specification 1.0 provides a framework for cloud-to-cloud (C2C) interoperability and establishes a foundation of tangible benefits for consumers, starting with legacy device integration and paving the way for energy savings in future. CityFibre surpasses 3mn premises in nationwide full-fibre network rollout

CityFibre has passed 3 million premises as it continues its full fibre network rollout to reach up to a third of the UK. CityFibre passed 2 million homes in September 2022 and is on course to deliver a million ready for service premises to ISPs by the end of this year. (more…)

With this partnership, CoolAutomation edge devices can integrate any compatible HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system brands into Vantage InFusion System securely and ensure communication between the two. Hughes secures $900mn contract by US Space Force for low earth orbit satellite services

Hughes Network Systems, LLC, an EchoStar company, announced that it has been awarded a five-year, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the US Space Force for proliferated low earth orbit (LEO) satellite-based services. Under the IDIQ vehicle, valued at up to $900 million (€827.14 million), US Department of Defense, other federal agencies and international coalition partners can procure managed, low-latency LEO services from Hughes leveraging capacity on two constellations: OneWeb and EchoStar Lyra.
