Fijoport allows secure communication with remote technology devices such as LAN Switches/Routers, Computers/Servers, Telephony Systems, Serial/USB to IP Convertors and most IP standards-based IP networks/devices and peripherals.
The benefits of Fijoport are many, but the leading business drivers identified by our partners are:
Fijoport was first deployed by leading telcos (telecommunications network suppliers) in order that they could manage large installed bases of equipment that were dispersed over wide areas.
The success of Fijoport in the telecoms sector has led to adoption by other sectors including
If you want to know more about Fijoport and how it could work for your organisation, please contact sales@fijowave.com and we shall be glad to provide a demonstration of its capability.
In a typical setup, the Fijoport connects through the customers firewalls to a remote portal server (which also authenticates the Fijoport). This provides an always-on secure tunnel link over which a VPN (virtual private network) can be established to permit IP communications.
A user simply issues a request to the portal server to establish a VPN, and then is able to run IP-based software tools to remotely manage the devices on the customers LAN. The list of IP devices that the user can remotely access is programmed into the Fijoport device.
Authentication, authorization and accounting network security services are used throughout the system, with all public communications encrypted for confidentiality and signed to prove data integrity / authentication.
