LoRaWAN enters its next growth phase

Hapag-Lloyd signs merger agreement with ZIM

Hapag-Lloyd has signed an agreement with ZIM Integrated Shipping Services, one of the world’s largest container shipping line, under which Hapag-Lloyd will acquire 100% of ZIM’s shares for a consideration of USD 35.00 per share in cash. The total transaction value amounts to over USD 4 billion.

Sphero launches BOLT+ coding robot powered by Nordic Semiconductor

Educational technology company Sphero has launched ‘Bolt+’, an updated version of its ‘Bolt’ smart robot, designed to help students learn how to code. Aimed at grades three to ten, BOLT+ can be programmed via an app to perform a variety of tasks, such as following a path, changing the colours of its lights, or updating its display, all using Nordic Semiconductor Bluetooth LE wireless connectivity.

Telefónica Tech will connect more than 4,000 meters for Aguas de Cádiz

The municipal company Aguas de Cádiz has entrusted Telefónica Tech, Telefónica’s digital business unit, with the transformation of more than 4,000 water meters into smart meters with the aim of promoting more efficient and sustainable water resource management and distribution. This initiative is part of the WATERCOG-PC project for the digital transformation of the urban water cycle, managed by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (PERTE) and financed with NextGeneration EU funds.
