Iteris, Inc., a trusted technology ecosystem for smart mobility infrastructure management, announced it has been selected to modernise public transit in Mérida, the capital of the Mexican state of Yucatán, as part of a United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA)-funded ITS modernisation project. This project is Iteris’ initial international ITS consulting project funded by USTDA, and one of the large-scale projects in Latin America focusing on ITS solutions and bus electrification as part of modernising public transportation networks.
