Airbiquity has announced a technology partnership with Tessolve delivering a pre-integrated hardware and software platform for secure and ‘sophisticated’ Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates and data logging. Accenture Federal Services has won a $25 million (€23.36 million) digital transformation prime contract to modernise operations for Air Force Sustainment Centre (AFSC) including each of three air logistics complexes (ALCs) at Tinker Air Force based in Oklahoma, Robins air force base in Georgia, and Hill air force base in Utah. Using an approach that includes cloud, edge computing, and industrial internet of things (IIoT), Accenture Federal Services is creating IIoT enterprise platform for AFSC’s technology hosting environment for NextGen automation, a programme commonly referred to as ATHENA. Trusted Connectivity Alliance (TCA) has announced election of Bertrand Moussel (Valid) as chair of board for 2023-4. The organisation works to promote eSIM (embedded subscriber identity module) interoperability, advanced use of eSIM technology across upcoming IoT (internet of things) use-cases and support sustainable creation. Moussel has served on TCA’s board since 2016 and succeeds Claus Dietze (Giesecke+Devrient), who stepped down following three consecutive terms as chair.
