King Steel joins Forces with Siemens to bring Taiwan to the forefront of green manufacturing

5 September 2022 – Taiwan King Steel Machinery Co. and German multinational conglomerate Siemens have joined Forces, in collaboration with industrial equipment supplier Ruhyih Automation, to begin integrating digital twin technologies into injection molding machines. The agreement ensures energy and carbon reduction throughout the entire industry by incorporating energy efficiency from the very start of the production process. EarthSense and Sandwell MB Council monitor air quality to encourage behavioural change

Following the challenge of improving air quality in Sandwell, and after receiving an air quality grant from the department for environment, food & rural affairs (DEFRA) in 2021, Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is using eight EarthSense Zephyr air quality monitors, its MappAir pollution model and MyAir public portal to deliver live air pollution data to faith centres and their communities. The services are being used by faith leaders to raise public awareness of air pollution in Sandwell and demonstrate how people can adjust their everyday behaviour to improve local levels.

Social Development and Human Security Ministry, dtac to give digital skills training to indigenous people

18 August, 2022 – Social Development and Human Security Ministry and dtac signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), forming a partnership to empower the indigenous peoples through digital and entrepreneurial training, with the aim to increase economic well-being and promote sustainable tourism. The pivotal partnership will primarily focus on 24 villages covering seven ethnic minority groups with outstanding products and will expand to cover 20 groups of indigenous peoples in three years.
