KBR announced that its commercial cloud and mission service platform, KBR Vaault, has been prioritised for Federal Risk and Authorisation Management Programme (FedRAMP) Joint Authorisation Board (JAB) authorisation process. KBR’s integrated technology solution is one of six products currently prioritised for JAB authorisation as a part of FedRAMP, a joint US government effort to provide cost-effective and risk-based cloud services. Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) has announced public release of Get Ready for Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) 7: Applying new capabilities to the key use cases, a report that explores how this technology will change the way people worldwide live, work and play. Based on the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) 802.11be (extreme high throughput) standard, Wi-Fi 7 has a variety of advanced capabilities. GigNet has completed a fibre-optic broadband network that stretches from Costa Mujeres, located north of Cancun, through hotel zone in Tulum. As part of this achievement, advanced broadband connectivity solutions were provided, including a sponsored public Wi-Fi zone. This was implemented during Alejandro Fernandez concert at Mayakoba in Riviera Maya, Mexico, which took place on August 19th, 2023.
