Low power IoT service revenues to exceed $2.6bn by 2024, as operators seek new revenue streams

A new study from Juniper Research found that service revenues from low power IoT technologies will exceed $2.6 billion (2.3 billion) by 2024; rising from only $290 million (263 million) in 2019, a growth of 800% over the next 5 years. The Linux Foundation’s LF Edge releases V2.0 of the Open Glossary of Edge Computing

LF Edge, an umbrella organisation within the Linux Foundation that aims to establish an open, interoperable framework for edge computing independent of hardware, silicon, cloud, or operating system, announced Version 2.0 of its Open Glossary of Edge Computing.
