Iteris, Inc., a technology ecosystem for smart mobility infrastructure management, has announced it has been awarded a $2.5 million (€2.29 million) contract from the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) to monitor and maintain the San Bernardino Valley Coordinated Traffic Signal System (SBVCTSS) corridors and develop a smart county master plan for all of San Bernardino County. Berlin, Germany. 3 April 2023 — The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is piloting German environmental start-up Dryad Networks’ ‘ultra-early’ wildfire detection technology to improve fire detection speeds.
