Adtran has announced that Sertex Broadband Solutions is utilising its Mosaic One solution to bring high-speed fiber connectivity to the remote community of New Shoreham on Block Island. An end-to-end access solution was required to enable fiber connectivity in geographically challenging island buildout, and the Gigabit network delivers some of the ‘highest’ internet speeds in the state to previously underserved residents and visitors. GigNet has completed a fibre-optic broadband network that stretches from Costa Mujeres, located north of Cancun, through hotel zone in Tulum. As part of this achievement, advanced broadband connectivity solutions were provided, including a sponsored public Wi-Fi zone. This was implemented during Alejandro Fernandez concert at Mayakoba in Riviera Maya, Mexico, which took place on August 19th, 2023.
