Jorjin unveils its latest AR / MR smart glasses at MWC and Embedded World

Jorjin, which tracks progress on AR / MR innovation, was selected this year by the 5G Technology Program Office, the Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT) and the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) was invited to represent Taiwan together with the ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute), Chunghwa Telecoms and various other partners in the 5G supply chain at the Mobile World Congress to introduce the latest 5G innovations from Jorjin.
Tom Liang , chairman of Jorjin notes, “For the smooth functioning of the Internet of Things, stable, high-speed Internet access is essential, and Jorjin is looking forward to the developments in the 5G area so smart-glasses can tap into their many advanced applications for mere science fiction. ”
At this year’s MWC, Jorjin teamed with the Smart System Institute (SSI) to combine the software capabilities of the Institute for Information Industry (III) to showcase the J4 series of binocular AR Smart Glasses, which are capable of delivering high-speed data transmission Playing back real-time video material in a multi-perspective format, which is also useful for medical purposes, e.g. B. for endoscopic surgery, surgical robots, etc. can be used.
With 5G high-speed data transmission, it would also be possible to advance digital twin projects that mix virtual and real data to provide architectural support for future smart city initiatives.
At the same time, Jorjin will exhibit the J-Supporter Smart Glasses at the Embedded World exhibition in Germany, presenting the vision picking function in logistics management. Featuring a built-in barcode engine, see-through near-eye display, and wireless connectivity, the J-Supporter can scan barcodes from a first-person perspective, providing smoother workflows and fewer opportunities for human error.
Albert Hsing , president of Jorjin, notes that “in addition to logistics management, the applications of smart glasses are virtually limitless, as the AR Smart Glasses infrastructure is capable of rapidly creating entire cyber-physical systems with which SOPs for manufacturing and fast 3D data simulations can be made available at short notice, offering countless business opportunities.”
At Embedded World, Jorjin also presents the LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) solution for large-scale industrial logistics, while mainly exhibiting Sigfox and LoRa, which have cloud platforms incorporating multisensory environmental monitoring capabilities.
Jorjin wants to showcase its latest innovations and drive the smart glasses industry and the Internet of Things to become the next industry model.
