Our Global Managed M2M Connectivity Service is designed to help you accelerate market entry for a new generation of connected M2M deployments such as vehicle telematics, fleet management, electronic metering, asset tracking and remote operations on a local, regional and global scale.

Underpinned by patented technology, our Global M2M Service removes the barriers for M2M applications such as country-specific SIMs, multiple individual contractual agreements or complex service integration and operation.

At the core of our Global Managed M2M Connectivity Service is our Global M2M Platform - a powerful solution to help you self-manage your connected M2M deployments.

The Vodafone M2M Platform is a dedicated, centralized service delivery and management platform for M2M services designed with the main purpose to supply and service large-scale, wireless, multi-country deployments to enterprises and their solution providers. Specific subscription states can also be applied to meet the different states of the M2M Solution service lifecycle. For example, SIMs shipped to a fabrication plant can be set to “Active-Test” (i.e. “no charge applies”), to allow the device to access the customer’s M2M service but being limited by duration or usage till the service is deemed active by the customer.

With the M2M Service Portal, a web-based user interface, large numbers of M2M devices can be easily managed. The attention of the customer is drawn first to failures, exceptions and deviations in e.g. data usage or communication behavior.

Our customers can procure from the Vodafone contracting entity a single, Global SIM for deployment into their devices and can manage all their assets, independent of location, through optimized management tool, fit-to-purpose pricing and improved SIM logistics. The extensive Vodafone roaming footprint allows to roll-out  M2M solution in all the different markets where a customer is active with one single, global SIM-card.
