TALQ Consortium expands Smart City Protocol with 58 certified products

The TALQ Consortium, which developed the Smart City Protocol, continues to ensure benefits for cities worldwide through a rigorous certification process. An increasing number of cities and utilities now require TALQ Certification in their public tenders to guarantee interoperability between systems from different vendors. Currently, there are 58 TALQ-certified products from 39 manufacturers available. The consortium’s steady growth—now consisting of 66 member companies from 24 countries—along with the ongoing evolution of the protocol, highlights its commitment to advancing smart city solutions and promoting global standards. TALQ Consortium unveils enhanced smart city protocol

The TALQ Consortium has released a new version 2.6.0 of its Smart City Protocol. Continuous evolution of the protocol ensures the interface standard constantly adapts to changing market needs. Version 2.6.0 introduces a new Cabinet Control profile, an extension of active periods and new commands for colour lights – the latter being aligned with the DALI-2 (IEC 82386) Part 209 definition.
