Hughes Network Systems, LLC, an EchoStar company, announced that it has been awarded a five-year, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the US Space Force for proliferated low earth orbit (LEO) satellite-based services. Under the IDIQ vehicle, valued at up to $900 million (€827.14 million), US Department of Defense, other federal agencies and international coalition partners can procure managed, low-latency LEO services from Hughes leveraging capacity on two constellations: OneWeb and EchoStar Lyra. Calix, Inc. has announced that longtime customer ALLO Communications (ALLO) has secured $650 million (€577.75 million) in sustainable financing, driven in part by their investment in the Calix broadband platform Calix Intelligent Access EDGE, Calix Cloud, and Calix Revenue EDGE.
