Ericsson and Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) have announced the launch of a centre of excellence (CoE) at Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). The CoE will train students on 5G and emerging technologies along with job placements post the completion of the selected module by the student. The Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) secured nearly [$5.5 million (€4.99 million)] in the first round of grants from the Public Wireless Supply Chain Innovation Fund. Butler Electric Cooperative has selected Conexon, to deliver fibre broadband support services for cooperative’s fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network. The $21 million (€19.18 million) project, representing the state’s electric cooperative fibre broadband network, is partially being funded through a $10 million (€9.13 million) Kansas Capital Projects will deliver FTTH internet access to approximately 4,300 rural Kansans. Service will be offered through Butler Electric’s broadband division, Velocity.
