Work to upgrade Wath upon Dearne’s digital foundations with future-proof full fibre network connectivity is now underway after CityFibre started construction works in the town’s Swinton area. Telenor announced that all shares in software company Working Group Two will be acquired by the global communications technology company Cisco. Telenor sells its 44.6% share of Working Group Two, in a transaction where Cisco will acquire all shares in the company for an enterprise value of [$150 million (€137.03 million)]. Ericsson and Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) have announced the launch of a centre of excellence (CoE) at Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). The CoE will train students on 5G and emerging technologies along with job placements post the completion of the selected module by the student.
