Denver, 13 September 2022 – Lumen Technologies has announced Kate Johnson has been appointed president, chief executive officer and a member of the company’s board of directors with the transition date expected to be November 7, 2022. Johnson succeeds Jeff Storey, who has announced his retirement after a distinguished 40-year career within the telecommunication and technology industries, including Lumen and its predecessors. On August 17 and 18, Lithuania staged Telematics Vilnius 2022, reportedly global IoT platform Wialon’s community event. The gathering saw more than 150 IoT experts from 51 countries come together to discuss telematics trends including fleet management, GPS tracking and IoT. The two-day event in Vilnius, said to be a booming global tech hub, as well as the Wialon headquarters, culminated in an award ceremony where Wialon celebrated its best performing telematics and IoT partners worldwide alongside the top ranking GPS hardware manufacturers.
