nexfibre acquires Upp to boost fibre rollout by 175,000 homes in partnership with Virgin Media O2

nexfibre, in partnership with Virgin Media O2, has reached an agreement with fibre operator, Upp, to acquire provider. The acquisition will boost fibre footprint of nexfibre by 175,000 premises in East of England and ensure investment and network build in region continues for years to come. The all-cash deal sees Virgin Media O2 initially purchase provider and carry out integration work, but nexfibre will thereby fund acquisition through a back-to-back agreement to buy Upp’s network assets. Airties, Domos to provide latency management to broadband service providers

Airties and Domos, has announced an alliance to provide enhanced latency management capabilities to broadband service providers around world. Airties and Domos will jointly own latency monitoring software module, based on Domos’ existing module, and will be embedded into Airties smart Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) software. Additionally, Domos will gain access to Airties’ customer base to expand distribution of its network X-ray agent through integration with Airties smart Wi-Fi solutions.
