Smart electricity and water meters in Dubai increase 10-fold in seven years

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has announced that Dubai’s population benefit from 2.1 million smart electricity and water meters. This is part of DEWA’s efforts to develop smart and advanced infrastructure in accordance with the highest international standards. Renault Group, Qualcomm Technologies partner to co-develop a centralised platform architecture for software defined vehicles

San Diego, United States – Renault Group and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. announced that the companies intend to take their technology collaboration one step further with plans to deliver a centralised compute architecture for Renault’s next-generation of software defined vehicles. Known as “software defined vehicle” (SDV) platforms, the high-performance automotive platforms would be based on Snapdragon Digital Chassis solutions from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and support digital cockpit, connectivity, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The companies also announced that Qualcomm Technologies, or one of its affiliates, will also be investing in the Renault Group’s dedicated electric and software company, known as Ampere. (more…)

Reston, United States. 01 September, 2022 – Carahsoft Technology Corp., is partnering with ChargePoint, a electric vehicle (EV) charging network, to enable access to the ChargePoint portfolio of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions to support the federal Government’s electrification plans, from agency fleet deployments to personal occupancy vehicles (POV).
