Nokia announced a partnership with Asavie to use its SD Edge mobility solution to extend the reach of the Nuage Networks SD-WAN 2.0 solution to include enterprise mobile and IoT devices. Mobile users will be able to seamlessly and securely connect to enterprise clouds and applications without the hassle of using VPN clients on their devices. Enterprise IT teams will benefit greatly from using the same centralised policy and control for mobile access as the rest of the enterprise users and devices based in physical branch offices. (more…)

Change Healthcare announced the appointment of Steven Martin as executive vice president of enterprise technology. Martin joins Change Healthcare from GE where he served as acting CEO for GE Digital. He previously spent over a decade at Microsoft where he was a key leader on their azure cloud platform team. Prysmian Group, a provider of energy and telecom cable systems industry and the manufacturer of cables in the world, has selected IBM Services to help expand and manage its global technological infrastructure. The three-year agreement engagement is designed to addresses Prysmian’s need to better integrate their presence in 50 countries around the world.
