Telecommunications provider Telefónica Deutschland has gained a new partner for the Internet of Things in the German company Crout. Together, the companies are now launching the “2CoreSIM” on the market: an IoT solution that combines two independent network profiles on a single SIM card and automatically switches to the alternative connection in the event of disruptions.

Hapag-Lloyd has signed an agreement with ZIM Integrated Shipping Services, one of the world’s largest container shipping line, under which Hapag-Lloyd will acquire 100% of ZIM’s shares for a consideration of USD 35.00 per share in cash. The total transaction value amounts to over USD 4 billion.
