DZS and AXON Networks have announced the acquisition of DZS’ Service Assurance and WiFi Management software portfolio by AXON Networks. The all-cash, US$34 million transaction transfers all CloudCheck, Expresse and TruSpeed assets and IP patents to AXON, along with a skilled development team and long-time marquee customers. These products will be integrated into AXON’s Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) portfolio, while DZS will focus its development and go-to-market strategy on its Networking, Connectivity and Cloud Edge portfolio. GigNet has completed a fibre-optic broadband network that stretches from Costa Mujeres, located north of Cancun, through hotel zone in Tulum. As part of this achievement, advanced broadband connectivity solutions were provided, including a sponsored public Wi-Fi zone. This was implemented during Alejandro Fernandez concert at Mayakoba in Riviera Maya, Mexico, which took place on August 19th, 2023.

Calix, Inc. has announced that longtime customer ALLO Communications (ALLO) has secured $650 million (€577.75 million) in sustainable financing, driven in part by their investment in the Calix broadband platform Calix Intelligent Access EDGE, Calix Cloud, and Calix Revenue EDGE. Sustainable finance is an investment that considers the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors of an economic activity or project.
