The LoRa Alliance, the global association of companies backing the open LoRaWAN standard for Internet of Things (IoT) low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs) has announced that LoRaWAN certification is now available for end-devices using static context header compression (SCHC). Certification is based on the LoRa Alliance technical specifications for IPv6 published last May, which enable the deployment of IPv6 over LoRaWAN solutions. (more…)

Adtran, Inc., the provider of open networking and subscriber experience solutions has announced that Greece’s power utility, Public Power Corporation (PPC), is leveraging the Adtran end-to-end fibre broadband solution to launch its pilot high-speed wholesale network in the municipality of Peristeri, within the region of Attica. Amsterdam, Netherlands – In the month since Matter 1.0 was released, Matter momentum has continued to accelerate. The members showcased their Matter products at a launch event in Amsterdam with a wide array of categories including motion blinds, occupancy sensors, weather devices, smart plugs, door locks, lighting, gateways, platform components, and Matter-based software applications.
