ePlus inc announced that it has acquired certain assets of the Network Solutions Group (NSG), a business unit of CCI Systems, Inc. (CCI). NSG is a Michigan-based provider of networking services and solutions focused in the broadband Service Provider end-market. This acquisition will help drive additional growth with enhanced engineering, sales, and services delivery capabilities specific to the industry. Linux Foundation releases DentOS 3.0 network operating system

The DENT project, an open source network operating system utilising the Linux Kernel, Switchdev, and other Linux based projects, has announced the launch of DentOS 3.0, code-named “Cynthia,” a network operating system (NOS) that’s now moved to a more rapid release cycle.
