Quectel’s FGH200M Wi-Fi HaLow module now FCC/IC/CE/RCM certified for mass production

Morse Micro, one of the world’s Wi-Fi HaLow silicon provider, has announced that Quectel’s FGH200M module has passed FCC/IC/CE/RCM certification. Built on Morse Micro’s MM8108 system-on-chip, the module is now cleared for mass-market production, giving IoT device makers a validated path to Wi-Fi HaLow at scale.

OPC Foundation and LoRa Alliance launch joint activities to map LoRaWAN to OPC UA

The OPC Foundation has announced a new joint working group effort with the LoRa Alliance to develop a mapping from LoRaWAN to OPC UA, bringing together two highly complementary technologies that play important roles in the future of industrial and IoT connectivity. This collaboration aims to define how data and information models originating from LoRaWAN-based devices and systems can be represented in OPC UA, enabling improved interoperability between low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) deployments and industrial automation, enterprise and cloud-based systems.

Telefónica Tech will connect more than 4,000 meters for Aguas de Cádiz

The municipal company Aguas de Cádiz has entrusted Telefónica Tech, Telefónica’s digital business unit, with the transformation of more than 4,000 water meters into smart meters with the aim of promoting more efficient and sustainable water resource management and distribution. This initiative is part of the WATERCOG-PC project for the digital transformation of the urban water cycle, managed by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (PERTE) and financed with NextGeneration EU funds.
