Renesas lays out Wi-Fi roadmap based on Celeno acquisition

Munich, Germany and Tokyo, Japan ― Renesas Electronics Corporation, a supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions has unveiled plans to deliver a comprehensive set of advanced Wi-Fi offerings to complement its broad portfolio of Industrial and IoT products. The challenge for network operators is “massive” as we transition to 5G, says Rabih Dabboussi, chief revenue officer of Japan-based disruptor Rakuten Symphony. He hopes operators won’t miss the chance to disrupt their thinking, their operating model, and the way they look at revenues.
