Lufthansa Cargo becomes launch customer for Jettainer’s next-gen IoT tracking

Lufthansa Cargo has become the launch customer for a new IoT-based ULD tracking solution developed by Jettainer, marking a new step in the partners’ long-standing cooperation. The technology will be rolled out across all ULD fleets for Lufthansa Cargo and fits perfectly in the broader efforts to strengthen digital transparency and operational efficiency. Implementation has already started. The announcement, made at the IATA World Cargo Symposium 2026 in Lima, Peru, highlights the companies’ joint commitment to innovation and digital leadership in global air cargo.
