Nokia supplies private wireless to Maersk’s fleet for real-time cargo tracking

Nokia has announced that it has signed a contract with Danish global integrated logistics contributor, Maersk, to equip 450 vessels in its fleet with Nokia’s private wireless network solutions. This important deployment is part of Maersk’s Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity platform, OneWireless, which offers numerous benefits to its customers, including real-time cargo tracking, enhanced supply chain visibility, and improved operational efficiency.

LoRa Alliance brings LoRaWAN to IoT Solutions World Congress

The LoRa Alliance, the global association of companies backing the open LoRaWAN standard for the internet of things (IoT) low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs), has announced that it will bring together its extensive LoRaWAN ecosystem as part of IoT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC), taking place May 13–15, 2025, at Barcelona’s Gran Via Venue. Under the banner “Building Massive IoT with LoRaWAN,” the organisation will feature a day-long program dedicated to LoRaWAN on May 14. Beyond the stage talks, members will share insights about their success stories as part of several show floor talks, including those from 19 LoRa Alliance member companies who will demonstrate LoRaWAN in Action! in Hall 8 Stand D9.

Sequans Monarch powers Coyote Nano 2.0 new generation of stolen vehicle tracker

Verizon adds new partners Singtel, Skylo to worldwide IoT platform

Verizon Business has added Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity services from two new partners — Singapore-based operator Singtel and satellite service provider Skylo — to its suite of global IoT offerings. Verizon Business IoT customers can now access wireless services in up to 200 territories worldwide using complementary satellite, roaming and native eSIM services from Verizon and its partners, all conveniently managed through the Verizon ThingSpace IoT management portal.

The Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA), the global industry body dedicated to driving the seamless and interoperable service experience of Wi-Fi across the global wireless ecosystem, has today released a set of “L4S Implementation Guidelines” for Low Latency, Low Loss and Scalable (L4S) throughput over Wi-Fi networks.
