Northeast Mississippi Community College addresses need for fibre optic technicians with Fibre Broadband Association’s OpTIC path course

Planet partners with Taylor Geospatial Institute to leverage data food security, defense and intelligence

San Francisco, United States – Planet Labs PBC, a provider of daily data and insights about Earth, announced that they have entered into a multi-year contract with Saint Louis University in support of the Taylor Geospatial Institute (TGI), a geospatial research collaborative. Bringing together eight midwestern universities and research centres, TGI aims to harness innovation in geospatial science and make scientific discoveries that address global challenges. OpenRoaming at Polytechnic Institute of Viseu showcases the future of higher education

London, UK, 15 September 2022 – The Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) announced a successful proof-of-concept trial of Wi-Fi 6E at a major university campus in Europe. The trial showcases the Extreme Networks AP4000 Wi-Fi 6E access point’s unique ability to enable immersive, interactive learning experiences, including 8K video. Hot Pepper Mobile partners with NextNav to bring vertical location technology to upcoming device on tier-one national carrier

Mobile phone developer Hot Pepper Mobile and NextNav, a specialist in GPS, has announced a new agreement that will bring NextNav’s Pinnacle vertical location technology to Hot Pepper Mobile’s upcoming feature phone on a tier-one carrier’s network, scheduled for release in 2023. The partnership will bring z-axis geolocation capabilities, which are increasingly critical for 911 emergency services, search and rescue, and lone worker safety, to an accessible and affordable consumer device.
