19 July 2022 – SK Telecom has announced that its two technologies regarding the control and interworking of quantum cryptography communication networks were adopted as new work items at the ITU-T meeting held in Geneva, Switzerland. They will be approved as international standards through discussions among ITU-T member countries.

Washington, 15 July 2022 – FCC chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel has circulated to her colleagues a Notice of Inquiry that would kick off the agency’s annual evaluation of the state of broadband across the country. As part of this assessment, chairwoman Rosenworcel proposed increasing the national standard for minimum broadband speeds and proposed setting a long-term goal for broadband speed. (more…)

San Francisco, UK. 13 July 2022 – Dedrone, a specialist in smart airspace security, has closed US$30 million (€29.93 million) in an oversubscribed Series C-1 financing round.
