Data Performance Consultancy (DPC) and Enturi, have announced their partnership for a standards-based wind turbine and data management project. The collaboration will adopt open connectivity foundation (OCF) secure IP (internet protocol) device framework and pair Enturi’s wind turbine with DPC’s data skills to support both businesses and individuals in achieving their sustainability goals through use of transparent data.

Charter Communications, Inc. announced that it is awarding $1.1 million (€1.03 million) to 46 nonprofit organisations through its spectrum digital education grant programme. With this recent round of grants, Charter has committed more than $9 million (€8.46 million) total to the initiative, which supports broadband technology programmes, education and training in unserved and underserved communities throughout Charter’s service area. Accenture Federal Services has won a $25 million (€23.36 million) digital transformation prime contract to modernise operations for Air Force Sustainment Centre (AFSC) including each of three air logistics complexes (ALCs) at Tinker Air Force based in Oklahoma, Robins air force base in Georgia, and Hill air force base in Utah. Using an approach that includes cloud, edge computing, and industrial internet of things (IIoT), Accenture Federal Services is creating IIoT enterprise platform for AFSC’s technology hosting environment for NextGen automation, a programme commonly referred to as ATHENA.
