Futurecom celebrates its 30th edition and brings together global leaders, experts and executives from brands to discuss the future of technology

Futurecom 2025
The Futurecom , one of the largest connectivity, technology and innovation platform for Latin America, a key hub for cybersecurity solutions, and a facilitator of digital transformation, will host discussions on the most promising trends, challenges and advances in communication and connectivity. The event will bring together approximately 300 exhibiting brands spread across an area of over 25,000 m².
The 30th edition of the event will be held from September 30th to October 2nd at São Paulo Expo in São Paulo, and will bring together a robust innovation ecosystem, with more than 200 hours of content and around 500 speakers. The program will feature prominent names from the national and international scene, including experts Ronaldo Lemos and Paulo Rufino Henrique , Conrad Riedesel , chairman of the board of Deutsche Telekom and Manish Singh, global CTO of Dell , as well as CEOs and executives from companies such as Bayer, Bradesco, Grupo Boticário, Natura, Siemens, VTal, among others. Representatives from the public sector, such as members of the Ministry of Communications, are also confirmed. Special guests at the event will also include racing driver Rubens Barrichello and journalist Ernesto Paglia.
Rubens Barrichello, Non-Executive Director in Latin America at SOFTSWISS and former Formula 1 driver, will deliver the lecture “Data-Driven Decision Making: From Telemetry to Business Intelligence.” On October 1st, at 3 p.m., in Plenary Room 1. The panel “From Screens to Action: Innovation in Climate Monitoring and Audiovisual – Storm Chasers” will be presented by journalist Ernesto Paglia, alongside Iara Cardoso, CEO of Grupo Storm, and Osmar Pinto Junior, founder and coordinator of the Atmospheric Electricity Group (ELAT) at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE). On September 30th, at 6 p.m., in Plenary Room 1.
Future Congress
The Future Congress highlights the keynote speaker Ronaldo Lemos, lawyer, professor, co-author of the 2014 Internet Civil Rights Framework and contributor to the 2018 National IoT Development Plan, as well as founder and director of the Rio de Janeiro Institute of Technology and Society (ITS Rio), will speak on “The New Global Race for Technological Relevance.” October 1st, at 4 p.m., in Plenary 1.
Already Paul Sergio Rufino Henrique, a scientist-member of the CTIF Global Capsule Foundation in France and chairman of the international 6G Briefing conference, and Jean-Pierre Bienaimé, former secretary general of the 5G Infrastructure Association (5G-IA) at the European Commission, former president of IREST (Institute for Economic and Social Research in Telecommunications), former vice president of Orange, and former president of the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) Forum, will join Paulo Fernando Silvestre, a consultant in Intelligence Technologies and Digital Design, to speak about “ Connectivity in 2055: communication and connection in 30 years,” moderated by Wilson Cardoso, a technology consultant and member of Senai. On October 2, at 11:15 a.m., in Plenary 1. Rufino will also participate in the panel “Futurecom Quantum Technologies: Celebrating 100 Years of Quantum Mechanics.” October 2nd, at 10am, in Plenary 2.
Futurecom has invited high-performance experts from the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) market to discuss connectivity ecosystems and society’s digital reality, exploring the impact of new technologies on the future of business. Confirmed speakers include Carlos Baigorri, president of the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel); Luiz Alexandre Garcia, CEO of Algar Telecom; Felipe Campos, CEO of VTal; and Pablo Guaitá, managing director of Deutsche Telekom. The panel “30 Years in 01? Telecom and AI” will be held on September 30th, at 9:30 am, in Plenary 1. The moderator will be Ari Lopes, senior manager of service providers for the Americas at the consulting firm Omdia.
Claudia Anania, CIO of Fundação Butantan, will participate alongside Edson Amaro Junior , neuroradiologist and head of Global Advanced Technologies for Equity at Hospital Albert Einstein, and Sônia Castral, distinguished analyst at TGT, in the panel “Health 5.0 and well-being”. The discussion will be moderated by Claudio Coelho, VP of the Brazilian Association of Health Startups and HeahtTechs (ABSS). September 30th, at 9:30 am, in Plenary 2 .
André Fogaça, head of Logistics Innovation at AMBEV, and Paulo Humberto Gouvêa, director of Corporate Solutions at TIM Brasil, will be part of the panel “Smart, connected and autonomous logistics. Future or dream?” which will also feature Jean Prisco, the general manager of Information Technology at MRS, and Guillermo Lastra, the director of Commercial Vehicles at Ford South America. The lecture by keynote speaker Conrad Riedesel, chairman of the board of Deutsche Telekom Global Business Solutions and Security Switzerland and member of the board of Deutsche Telekom Global Business France, will be “Smart connectivity and digital ecosystems: reshaping business and society”, on October 1st, at 9 am, in Plenary 1.
Manish Singh, CTO of Dell Technologies’ Telecom Systems Business Unit, will discuss “AI Applied to Telecommunications.” On September 30th, at 3:45 pm, in Plenary 1. The panel “IoT Ecosystem and AI: An Expanding Universe” will feature Niyantri Ramakrishnan, Chief Digital Transformation & IT Officer (CIO/CDO) of Bayer Crop Science LATAM and Bayer Brazil. On October 1st, at 11 am, in Plenary 2.
The panel “New Industrialisation Policy” will be moderated by Israel Guratti, of the Brazilian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association (ABINEE). For the first time, Brazilian technology professionals will have privileged access to content from the renowned Data Centre World without having to leave the country. Futurecom will host two special panels curated by the world’s most important global data centre and digital infrastructure event, organised by Informa of the United States.
Leading experts from the Brazilian technology sector will lead in-depth discussions on two topics. On October 1st, at 2:00 pm , in the ISP Next Level arena, Rodrigo Radaieski, COO of Ascenty; Joe Bergamaschine, COO of Atlantic Data Centre; Renan Lima, president of ABDC; and Victor Arnaud, president of Equinix, will discuss “Hybrid Infrastructure Orchestration in Cloud, Edge and Traditional Data Centres.” Immediately following, at 3:00 pm , also in the ISP Next Level arena, Felipe Quintanilha, director of Global Technical Sales at Equinix for Latin America, will participate in a panel on “Building New Data Centres: Construction, Design, and Architecture.”
And to celebrate 30 editions of Futurecom, three attractions will be open to the public on September 30: Laudálio Veiga’s lecture, “Futurecom: celebrating the (R)evolution of telecommunications in more than 3 decades”, at 5:20 pm; the panel “From Screens to Action: Innovation in Climate Monitoring and Audiovisual – Storm Chasers”, at 6 pm, in Plenary 1; and “Magically: Comedy Hypnosis Show”, at 7pm.
