Joe Bohman of Siemens
Expleo, has signed a global alliance agreement with Siemens digital industries software to extend the availability of Test Automation Framework (TAF) to all Siemens’ Teamcentre portfolio customers worldwide. The goal is to lower the cost of end-to-end test automation by as much as 40%. The agreement is effective immediately.
The expanded partnership will be delivered through Expleo’s Trissential subsidiary and builds on the two companies’ 16-year relationship. The TAF offers customers a simpler methodology for testing their deployments in their IT environment. Siemens’ customers can also benefit from Expleo advisory expertise, determining appropriate levels of testing to be performed on modules based on risk assessments between major releases and minor patches.
Joe Bohman, SVP lifecycle collaboration software, Siemens Digital Industries Software says, “Our partnership with Expleo has allowed our customers to effectively automate their testing suite, enabling the reliability of business-critical functions as updates and patches are rolled out. We have seen customers greatly streamline their testing processes with test automation thanks to these solutions and we are delighted to be able to extend this Alliance bringing those benefits to all our Teamcentre customers worldwide.”
Tarun Philar, head of PLM and digital engineering, Trissential says, “With a wide and varied customer base, Siemens Digital Industries Software requires the highest levels of resilience as new versions, patches and customer-specific configurations are continually rolled out. The Test Automation Framework leverages our expertise in testing automation to ensure continuous quality, reducing risk and cost for customers across the entire development lifecycle. We will be working with Siemens to develop even more strategic services to meet demand for faster, predictable customer adoption.”
As part of the new Global Alliance Agreement, Expleo and Siemens will continue to collaborate on the development and delivery of innovative solutions related to product lifecycle management.
