Smart city innovator, Quantela , has launched a platform called Coronavirus Emergency Response (CoVER) an integrated command and control centre for crisis management. CoVER will enable cities around the world to improve their ability to monitor, predict and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The Quantela CoVER platform enables government agencies to collect, combine, analyse and visualise data from multiple sources in a way that helps them understand the overall situation and make appropriate decisions. Data is key to effectively tracking and managing government response to a pandemic, “said Amr Salem, CEO of Quantela .

Deployed in different regions around the world, CoVER is an end-to-end solution for managing, tracking, communicating, and responding to COVID-19. Deploying this solution will enable the city, state, and central government to do tremendous work Process data in their systems to mitigate the pandemic.

“Cities will be able to predict future scenarios based on current distribution patterns, understand the impact on key medical facilities, accelerate patient referrals to available capacity hospitals, track quarantined patients, and distribute funds there, where they are most needed, “added Salem.

CoVER uses artificial intelligence (AI) to operate its predictive analytics search engine to filter out the outbreak data, analyse and visualise it, and thereby identify and highlight important patterns and trends. In this way it can be predicted in which areas the next outbreaks will take place and suitable prevention strategies can be implemented.

The Quantela platform can be tailored to the needs of each location and deployed in just three days. The solution also includes a field service app for frontline employees such as nurses, doctors and police officers to optimise the collection of high quality data.

The Citizen app enables members of the community to access important information and contribute local data to the fight. The Citizen app allows users to self-assess their own health, self-report and monitor themselves when they are quarantined at home. “CoVER will enable the government and government officials to use specially designed digital tools to curb the spread of the corona virus and respond quickly and convincingly,” said Sridhar Gadhi , founder and executive chairman of Quantela .
