Volareo announces next partnerships towards the new decentralised music reality
Rotterdam-based Volareo, the blockchain-enabled smart speaker, announced the second, after Musicoin, partnership with Jazz de Ville, an online jazz radio station, which airs globally from its offices in Rotterdam.

Jazz de Ville is a platform for everything that has to do with Jazz. Headed by multi-talented DJ Maestro (Martijn Barkhuis), the infamous Dutch dj, master of the vinyl and producer of the platinum awarded compilation series Blue Note Trip for Blue Note Records, it now brings top quality jazz to Volareo speakers with its jazz streaming radio.

Based on an open-source, decentralised platform Volareo promises to break new boundaries in both cryptocurrency and musical appreciation. Bringing a new perspective to the world of music it celebrates its vast and varied nature, by applying blockchain and AI technology thus allowing users to listen to a lifetime of free music while providing instant compensation to musicians.
Next to instantly compensating artist with every single play, Volareo gives an option to engage further with their favorite artists by simply clapping their hands or pressing a button within the app to leave additional tips. “Jazz music by nature is very independent, with its inherent free form, it deserves a quality direct bond with the fans” Yap says.
Ultimately, the focus is to bring together a number of different music platforms and offer a seamless listening experience to all Volareo users. Jazz de Ville with its wide network of jazz artists, bands and dj’s constitutes an important addition towards decentralised music industry and the blockchain future of music.
