InnoPhase IoT and TDK InvenSense have announced an end-to-end sensor-to-cloud platform that combines the Talaria TWO (T2) Wi-Fi SoC and TDK InvenSense’s ICU-30201 ultra-long-range ultrasonic time-of-flight range sensor. The integration provides direct connectivity to the cloud without needing external MCUs, lowers power consumption and total cost of ownership, and dramatically increases battery life. Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) has announced public release of Get Ready for Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) 7: Applying new capabilities to the key use cases, a report that explores how this technology will change the way people worldwide live, work and play. Based on the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) 802.11be (extreme high throughput) standard, Wi-Fi 7 has a variety of advanced capabilities. Siemens has launched two new additional versions of its new Sentron 3WA power circuit breakers, alternatively known as air circuit breakers (ACBs). Series 3WA3 meets the requirements of UL 1066 and IEC 60947-2 standards, which enables customers to use it worldwide. This is advantageous for switchgear manufacturers and OEMs (original equipment manufacturer) producing systems for both standardisation areas IEC and UL.
