Orange Romania completes its acquisition of Telekom Romania Communications

Orange announces that it has completed its acquisition of a controlling stake in the fixed operator, Telekom Romania Communications (TKR). The closing of this deal will give Orange Romania a 54% controlling stake in one of Romania’s fixed telecom operators, with the remaining 46% stake retained by the Romanian State. (more…)

A1 Telekom Austria Group acquires spectrum for €14.1mn in Croatia

After a spectrum purchase on the Slovenian and Bulgarian market last spring, the Group announces a further purchase of a spectrum worth €14.1 million for the Croatian subsidiary A1 Croatia. The spectrum covers the 700 MHz, 3600 MHz and 26 GHz frequency bands with a validity of 15 years, financed by the Group´s current cash flow. (more…)
