Vodafone joins forces with LTIMindtree to drive industrial digital transformation

LTIMindtree  has collaborated with Vodafone. Through this partnership, LTIMindtree will offer connected and smart IoT solutions, powered by its Insight NXT platform (iNXT) and Vodafone’s IoT Managed Connectivity, that will enable Industry X.0 and digital transformation across multiple vertical sectors.

LTIMindtree’s iNXT Business Unit brings Technical and Functional components and together with Vodafone’s IoT Managed Connectivity solutions it will deliver to solve complex business challenges. Through the partnerships, LTIMindtree will empower clients to maximise their efforts across revenue acceleration through newer business models, cost efficiency and sustainability, using Smart IoT and Industry X.0. LTIMindtree, enabled by Vodafone will provide solutions that deliver advance capabilities in AI, machine learning, predictive maintenance, digital twin, supply chain visibility, sustainability, energy management, worker safety, sensorisation of assets, augmented reality and virtual reality training.

AmpliTech partners with Open6G OTIC for 5G testing

The Open6G Open Testing and Integration Centre (OTIC) at the Institute for the Wireless Internet of Things (WIoT) at Northeastern University have announced entering into a partnership and contractual agreement with AmpliTech Group, a NASDAQ company, to perform 5G interoperability testing (IoT) and conformance testing of AmpliTech’s newly released, O-RAN CAT B 64T64R MIMO radio unit (O-RU). This activity will take place at the Open6G OTIC in Boston and Burlington, Massachusetts. AmpliTech Group is a designer, developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art signal-processing components for satellite, 5G and other communications networks, design of complete 5G/6G systems, global distributor of packages and lids for integrated circuit assembly. Iteris secures $3m contract for transportation projects with TxDOT San Antonio

Iteris has announced that it has been awarded a five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) San Antonio District. The contract has a value of up to USD $3.0 million, representing continued demand for Iteris’ specialised consulting services in the large and forward-thinking Texas market.

This is Iteris’ third IDIQ contract with the TxDOT San Antonio District within the last six years, bringing the total value to $8 million. Work will include developing construction level plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E), and deploying wireless or fibre communications, closed circuit television cameras (CCTV), dynamic message signs (DMS), vehicle detection systems, wrong-way driver systems and low water crossing systems as well as infrastructure support, traffic signal design, traffic signal operations support and signal timing for the twelve-county area.

“We are proud to be selected again by TxDOT to support important infrastructure projects in the San Antonio District,” said Cliff Heise, a regional vice president, mobility professional services at Iteris. “With our deep and proven expertise, we are excited to help TxDOT increase efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, improve air quality and create a better transportation experience for the traveling public throughout the region.”
