ZTE Corporation, a provider of information and communication technology solutions, announced that it has recently obtained the CC (Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation) EAL3+ certificate for its OTN (optical transport network) products including ZXONE 9700 series, ZXMP M721 series, and ZXONE 7000 series. Butler Electric Cooperative has selected Conexon, to deliver fibre broadband support services for cooperative’s fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network. The $21 million (€19.18 million) project, representing the state’s electric cooperative fibre broadband network, is partially being funded through a $10 million (€9.13 million) Kansas Capital Projects will deliver FTTH internet access to approximately 4,300 rural Kansans. Service will be offered through Butler Electric’s broadband division, Velocity.
