LoRa Alliance’s new professional programme to support IoT’s need for skilled engineers, developers

LoRaWAN Live Orlando, a LoRa Alliance, an association of companies backing the open LoRaWAN standard for the internet of things (IoT) low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs), introduced the LoRaWAN Accredited Professional programme. The new accreditation supports the growing need for skilled LoRaWAN professionals in the market. 5G Smart School, a programme from Qualcomm Incorporated, through its Wireless Reach Initiative, and in collaboration with WeSchool, Telecom Italia (TIM) and Acer, is providing schools with wireless technology solutions. The programme, which launched at an event in Rome, aims to enhance the learning experience so teachers and students can take advantage of digital tools, content, and experiences. 5G Smart School improves teaching and learning in secondary schools (students aged 11 to 19) across Italy using wireless technologies, 5G connectivity, access to an online learning platform, training on digital teaching methodologies, and continuous teacher support.
