Ubuntu Core 20 secures Linux for IoT

Canonical’s Ubuntu Core 20, a minimal, containerised version of Ubuntu 20.04 LTS for Internet of Things (IoT) devices and embedded systems, is now generally available. Smart meter network passes 10mn milestone in UK

The Data Communications Company (DCC) has confirmed that the 10 millionth smart meter has been connected to its national secure network.
