Nokia, Telefónica partner to accelerate digital transformation for enterprises in Latin America

Nokia and Telefonica teamed to drive digital transformation for businesses across parts of Latin America by deploying private networks across verticals including ports, mining, energy and manufacturing. The companies will jointly supply its private wireless equipment with features including low-latency, high levels of predictability and security credentials.

Nokia has deployed networks to more than 2,600 enterprise customers in the transport, energy, large enterprise, manufacturing, webscale, and public sector segments around the globe. It has also extended its footprint to more than 595 private wireless customers worldwide across an array of industrial sectors and has been cited by numerous industry analysts as the provider of private wireless networking worldwide.

According to a recent survey by Nokia and GlobalData with 79 multinationals that have deployed Nokia industrial-grade private wireless solutions, nearly 80% of survey respondents expected to achieve ROI (return on investment) within six months of deployment.
