HERE powers HERNAV driver application from Hermes Germany
HERE Technologies, a location data and technology platform, has announced that it powers HERNAV, a driver application from Hermes Germany, a logistics service providers in Germany and partner to numerous international online shops and multi-channel distributors in Germany and abroad. Introduced in late 2022, HERNAV comes with automotive-grade maps, real-time traffic, geocoding and navigation software from HERE through an integration of the HERE Software Development Kit (SDK).
In Germany, HERNAV is used by more than 10,500 delivery drivers working for Hermes Germany. With HERE’s maps and services, HERNAV offers drivers a highly navigation solution with vehicle-specific routing. Optimised suggestions for multi-stop routes increase tour efficiency, leading to more sustainable and reliable deliveries. In addition, the offline capabilities of the HERE SDK allow drivers to rely on HERNAV to complete their deliveries.
