Baicells, Qualcomm collaborate to evolve 5G private networks for Industry 4.0

Plano, United States – Baicells has expanded its collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies to promote global 5G private networks for digital industrial transformation. Both companies have agreed to collaborate with their broad portfolio of technologies, markets, and other resource advantages to expand global 5G adoption. These 5G applications include industrial Internet, smart cities, Internet of Things (IoT), and other Industry 4.0 applications.

Baicells is an international, LTE and 5G hardware company that works with private internet providers, governments, and enterprise partners to develop 5G technologies that can meet the ever-growing demands for internet access. By championing open technologies, Baicells has developed a growing ecosystem of 5G+ partners. These partners use Baicells open technology to develop 5G applications that can meet the demands of the various market segments.

5G adoption is gaining ground as more enterprises are using wireless technology to achieve incredibly fast internet connectivity while improving network security. According to the recent report “Global Private 5G Network Growth Opportunities” by Frost & Sullivan, the global dedicated cellular network market will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 28.1% to [$6.32 billion (€6.03 billion)] by 2026, up from [$1.83 billion (€1.74 billion)] in 2021. Private 5G networks will contribute to this significant growth and are forecasted to reach [$5.05 billion (€4.81 billion)] by 2026, up from [$600 million (€572.06 million)] in 2021.

Baicells and Qualcomm Technologies are both heavily invested in the communication industry and this agreement promotes a complementary relationship. The signed cooperation agreement will allow for more diversified and deeper cooperations in the 5G private network market, while creating further value for social development.
