DataLong16, a Barcelona-based company specialising in the Internet of Things (IoT) with research and development (R&D) and production operations in Europe, has strengthened its sales area with the addition of Aymeric Brard as VP of Sales.

Brard will guide DataLong16’s relationships with strategic customers and partners. He will also be responsible for leading a strategic area for the company, opening up and managing new projects designed to reinforce its global growth strategy.

Aymeric Brard started his career specialising as an IoT business development manager for Southern Europe and Northern Europe regions in Vodafone Group. He then took up the position of sales manager at Vodafone Automotive Northern Europe. He holds an MBA from ICADE (Spain) and graduated in France from ESCEM – Business School.

With solid experience in the IoT sector, DataLong16 says he will be a key figure in the development of the company. Its strategic plan is to create a framework of trust with customers to become their technology partner. DataLong16 offers solutions designed to help customers improve their processes, consolidate the growth of their business and focus on maximising control and cost reduction.

Aymeric’s participation, says the company, will strengthen and contribute to the needs of different business models; research laboratories, pharma, agri-food, medical, and chemical, across various channels including land, air, railway, maritime and river transport.

Datalong’s DL16 is a small, autonomous and compact data logger with real time internet connectivity and GPS position-enhancer. It claims high quality sensors that measure temperature, humidity, pressure and a powerful 3D orientation sensor and impact detector. All data is stored in the memory and transmitted through the internet, resulting in a data logger connected in real time and accessible through a browser.
