The IP500 Alliance, the pioneering IoT movement for secure m2m communication, announced the official launch of an open wireless standard in the Netherlands on June 13th in The Hague.

At The Hague Tech more than 40 representatives from association members and the Dutch automation community participated in the official launch of the IP500 wireless standard in the Netherlands. EvaQaid is one of IP500’s pioneering Dutch organisations and hosted the meeting together with Smart Building Tech Solutions.

Helmut Adamski, chairman of the IP500 Alliance sees IP500 on the move: “Our alliance members have developed a truly common industry-driven standard for their wireless devices that have been applied in a number of smart building projects, in Germany, and India, as well as right here in The Hague.”

Cutting-edge IP500 wireless sensor and actuator products and building management software were installed in the venue of the event. It is the first time IP500 technologies have been demonstrated in the Netherlands. The location at The Hague Tech, a large start-up community and tech-hub where talent, startups, scale-ups, knowledge institutes and the government connect and scale up tech solutions, was the perfect match for a IP500 Building Pilot.
