Global market research, data and advisory firm Ovum has expanded its research team in South Africa to better serve the growing needs of the African market.

Adrian Ho, Ovum principal analyst, Enterprise Services, has moved from Melbourne, Australia to join the team in Johannesburg. Adrian’s primary research focus is on technologies and solutions delivered to multinationals, enterprises, government agencies, and SMEs across the region.

This includes WAN services, enterprise mobility security, cloud services, IoT, AI/ML and other emerging digital technologies shaping the ICT industry

Adrian is a regular speaker at industry events, including the upcoming AfricaCom Conference & Exhibition on 13-15 November 2018 in Cape Town where Adrian will be chairing the Enterprise Digital Transformation stream.

Adrian comments, “I’m really thrilled to be right at the beating heart of Africa and to join Ovum’s incredibly knowledgeable team in Johannesburg. I expect the region will be a key focus area and bright spot for all ICT service providers as the region will be a high growth emerging market and early adopters in selected key digital technologies.”

“I look forward to meeting with the key local stakeholders across the region, understanding their needs and helping them to successfully implement their digital strategy.”

Adrian has recently published a report discussing the highlights of a survey of South African enterprises on their ICT spending intentions, service provider selection criteria, and technology adoption plans.
